Shatin to Central Link (East Rail Line Cross-harbour Extension)

After the commissioning of the East Rail Line (EAL) Cross-harbour Extension on 15 May 2022, the EAL is approximately 46km long, connecting the Admiralty Station and the Lo Wu Station/Lok Ma Chau Station (16 stations in total). The EAL Cross-harbour Extension comprises the Hung Hom Station Extension, a new Exhibition Centre Station and the Admiralty Station Extension and extends the EAL from Hung Hom across the Victoria Harbour to Wan Chai North and Admiralty. The EAL is the fourth cross-harbour railway, directly connecting the Northeast New Territories, Central Kowloon and Hong Kong Island with four interchange stations linking five railway lines.
