Description | The Shell Energy Smart Energy Hubs Deployment Project will implement Smart Energy Hubs throughout Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria across 40 commercial and industrial (C&I) customer sites to demonstrate new flexible demand capacity of 21.5 MW. The Shell Energy Smart Energy Hubs Deployment Project acknowledges that wide adoption of holistic demand flexibility services is currently limited due to insufficient market revenue for customer return on investment, and the initial high cost of deploying equipment.The project seeks to address regulatory and commercial barriers to support the adoption and delivery of demand flexibility services through a ‘whole of site’ approach at C&I customer sites. |
