Description | Beacon Offshore Energy has begun oil and natural gas production from the Shenandoah deepwater project connected to a floating production system (FPS) in the Gulf of America. The project includes development of reserves at approximately 30,000 feet true vertical depth using high-pressure 20,000 psi technology. The FPS Shenandoah, located on Walker Ridge 52 about 150 miles off the coast of Louisiana in water depth of around 5,800 feet, has a nameplate capacity of 120,000 bopd and 140 mmcfd. The project includes multiple phases with additional wells and subsea booster pump planned. |
