SHERLOCK - European Film Distribution - CREA-MEDIA-2022-FILMDIST

ended

CREA-MEDIA-2022-FILMDIST - SHERLOCK WATSON & HOLMES wants to be a distributor specialized in European and independent cinema with arthouse profile and with the idea of distributing those movies that often, without a bit of courage, probably would not get to be screened in our country. Our purpose is to dedicate to each arthouse film the commercial strategy it deserves: it can be the same for a limited release than for films with more than 100 prints. We will reinvest the bigger part of funds financed by Creative Europe MEDIA in the acquisition of distribution rights (MG) of European non-national films and on release costs of other European films. This time, in addition and as a new scope trying to adapt to the new market characteristics, we will bear in mind works on all platforms and strengthen further reinvestment in the online acquisition, promotion and distribution of recent non-national European films, trying to use innovative tools and also seizing dedicated campaigns to the online consumption of these specific works.
