Description | The Shinan Ui project is a 390-megawatt offshore wind farm to be built in waters near Uido-ri, Docho-myeon, Shinan County, South Jeolla Province, South Korea. The project has obtained its construction permit and is scheduled for completion in 2029. Hanwha Ocean is leading the project as both the developer and lead EPC contractor, with Korea Midland Power and Hyundai Engineering & Construction participating. Hanwha Ocean is also investing 800 billion won to build a next-generation wind turbine installation vessel for the project. |
