Shirley Basin Uranium Mining Project

Ur-Energy has started uranium mining operations at its Shirley Basin project in Wyoming. The project involves uranium bearing solution capture from Mine Unit 1 after completion of construction, wellfield installation, and permitting. The project is situated in the Shirley Basin district, known as the birthplace of ISR mining, and is now returning to active operations. Uranium loaded resin is expected to be transported to the Lost Creek facility for processing, subject to regulatory approval. The project has a licensed annual wellfield and toll processing capacity of up to 2.0 million pounds equivalent of U3O8, with measured and indicated mineral resources totaling approximately 9.1 million pounds U3O8 and an anticipated mine life of approximately nine years across three shallow mining units.
