Shoal Harbour Causeway Bridge Replacement

The project consists of the demolition of the old Shoal Harbour Causeway Bridge Structure and the construction of a new bridge structure in the Town of Clarenville. The scope of the project includes the replacement of the Causeway Bridge with a concrete girder bridge that consists of a concrete and asphalt wear surface, supported by six concrete girders on H-Pile supported foundations and wingwalls. The project aims to provide a bridge structure that will accommodate vehicular and pedestrian traffic whilst still accommodating the existing water main, the current vertical and horizontal alignment and minimally impacting the environment.
