SHRP 2 Safety Data Implementation and Oversight, Phase II

The objectives of this agreement are: (1) to maintain operation and management of the Strategic Highway Research Program 2 (SHRP 2) Safety Data by allowing a seamless transition from Phase I to Phase II activities, thereby assuring the SHRP 2 Safety Data remain available for research to benefit the public; and (2) to support activities such as automated data annotation that will improve the process for researchers to develop their analysis data sets from the SHRP 2 Safety Data provided by Virginia Tech Transportation Institute (VTTI), and data de-identification that will allow data to be accessible outside a secure data enclave.
