Description | In December 2010, construction of a biomass power plant commenced in Shuangfeng County, Hunan Province. The developer was Kaidi Electric Power, a Wuhan based local private company. The project was half completed in August 2011, but was put into operation in February 2014. The total investment was RMB 297 million (US$ 45.96 million) and Kaidi had a 100% stake in the project. The electricity generation capacity of the plant was 30MW. How the agreement was granted to Kaidi was not reported. Neither was the concession term. |
