Description | The project consists of upgrades to the Wastewater Treatment Plant in East Hants. The scope of the work involves replacing both the water and wastewater main lines leading up to the plant location on Burgess Road. The wastewater constraints were a topic reviewed in the Sewer Capacity Study completed in 2015 and the water line was identified in the Shubenacadie Leak Detection and Condition Assessment completed in 2016 as needing full replacement. The project aims to improve the quality of the water system and the sewer disposal system for the community of East Hants. |
