Construction started after AES put forward about $28 million as initial funds. The joint venture company is owned by AES China Generating (70%) and Sichuan Fuling Banxi Colliery (30%), an affiliate of the Ministry of Coal. A PPA exists with Sichuan Fuling Power Co. Shanghai Electric Corp provides engineering, procurement, and construction services for the plant, as well as funding during construction, and completion and performance guarantees. None None |
