Information Eastern Coal Fields Limited [ECL] has come up with SIDULI [OC & UG] with a ticket size of 535.17 INR Crores. This project in Coal sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project It is a Brownfield Project . Siduli colliery was an existing underground mine. Coal production started from the existing mine since nationalization. As the Siduli Block is having multiple seams in the Project Area, It was proposed to augment the production from the mine. Recast PR of Siduli [OC & UG] was approved by CIL Board on 22.05.2018 with additional capital Rs. 535.18 Crs in Equipment Hiring mode. OC operation was to be done in outsourcing. Peak production capacity of the project is 2.32 MTY. EC for 2.32 MTY has been obtained under cluster no. 11 group of mines on 14.10.2020 No forest land involved. From existing Mines coal production achieved 0.06 MT in 2022-23, 0.036 MT in 2023-24 till Dec-23. Modified Siduli OC Patch [ Ph-I] for extraction of 4.14 LT Coal and removal of 13.64 LCum OB [ including re-handling of 1.48 L Cum OB] by Outsourcing has been approved on 19.07.2023.NIT Floated on 15.09.2023. Part 1 of the Bid opened on 9.10.2023. Two bidders participated in the bid. Part-II opened on 14.11.2023. TCR approved on 29-12-2023. LOA issued on 2-01-2024.
