Sierra Flats Affordable Housing Development Phase I

Completed

Sierra Flats is an 80-unit affordable and workforce housing development in Carson City, Nevada. The project includes 40 age-restricted affordable units for seniors aged 55+ and 40 general occupancy units for families and individuals. It features a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments, with 64 units reserved for families and seniors earning between 30% and 50% of the Area Median Income under the 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credit allocation and Nevada Housing Division soft financing guidelines. The remaining 16 units are market-rate, supporting a mixed-income community. The development is built to National Green Building Standards–Silver, with solar panels and energy-efficient design.
