The first-generation hydrogen locomotive, SERA 193, was retrofitted from a diesel locomotive and is operational in West Sacramento. The project is supported by grants and partnerships, aiming to convert up to 20 locomotives to hydrogen and establish a vertically integrated hydrogen railroad hub. |
