Description

Description

"The proposal for the The Master's Degree in ""Silver Economy Strategy for Health"" project is relevant to the objectives of the Erasmus Mundus Design Measures action, as it respects and promotes the shared values of the European Union, i.e. respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for human rights, as well as the fight against all forms of discrimination. In addition, the proposal is innovative compared to the offer of existing master's programs and has been developed following a careful needs analysis. General Objective of the Project: The project aims to design a first-level Master's Degree in Silver Economy Strategy for Health (MaSSE), thus supporting the development of new joint Master's degrees and encouraging new academic cooperation between the coordinator, the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO, and the universities belonging to the consortium. The designed master's degree will meet the following specific objectives: Specific Objective 1: Enhance and diversify the educational offerings of the partner universities by developing a master's program that meets the growing needs of the labor market and healthcare policies. Specific Objective 2: Develop an innovative and practical educational program that combines a solid theoretical foundation with practical experiences, aimed at training professionals ready to address the concrete challenges of the Silver Economy and healthcare. During the design phase of the master's program, efforts will be made to build a curriculum that meets industry needs, with a particular focus on practical solutions that can be applied in real-world contexts. Specific Objective 3: Strengthen the collaboration between universities, companies, and healthcare institutions during the design phase of the master’s program to ensure that the curriculum meets the real need of the market."
