Silver Lake Power Plant Stadium Development

planned

Landmark Development proposed a transformational project to redevelop the Silver Lake Power Plant site and surrounding properties into a stadium-anchored mixed-use district. The development would house baseball, hockey, and soccer teams along with civic, cultural, and business attractions, including new indoor and outdoor sports and multipurpose venues in downtown Rochester. The project also includes building key transit and mobility components consistent with the City's and Destination Medical Center's transit plans. The Rochester City Council approved exclusive negotiations with Landmark Development to study the feasibility of this proposal.
