The development objective of Multi-Sectoral Action for Nutrition Project for Pakistan is to increase the dietary diversity and improve sanitation and hygiene practices in targeted project areas. This project has three components. 1) The first component, Support to Saaf Suthro Sindh, has the following subcomponents: (i) Building Capacity for open-defecation-free (ODF) Certification; (ii) Behavior Change for Improved Hygiene; and (iii) Incentivizing Good Hygiene Behavior. 2) The second component, Agriculture for Nutrition, has the following subcomponents: (i) Food Production and Management; (ii) Awareness Raising on Nutrition and Healthy Diet; and (iii) Capacity Development for Government Staff. 3) The third component, Project management, monitoring, and coordination, has the following subcomponents: (i) Village and household mobilization; (ii) Project Management; (iii) Monitoring and Learning; (iv) Impact Evaluation; and (v) Knowledge Management and Media Communications.
