Description

Description

The Singapore Thermal Power Project for Singapore will assist in financing the construction of the Pasir Panjang B thermal power station. It will be located adjacent to the existing Pasir Panjang A station and have an initial capacity of 120 MW. However, its capacity will increase to 240 MW at the end of construction in order to meet the power demands of Singapore's large population. The project will accomplish this goal through: 1) procurement of two 60 MW turbo alternator sets; and 2) procurement of two 560,000 pound per hour boilers. The construction of the Pasir Panjang B thermal power station will increase the supply of power to meet the growing demand by consumers in Singapore.
