The company is planning a 400 tonnes-per-day ammonium nitrate melt plant at the Singareni Thermal Power Plant (STPP) and conducting feasibility studies for surface coal gasification projects in Bheemaram, Chennur South, and Naini coal blocks. SCCL has identified five deep coal blocks in Bellampalli and Ramagundam for underground coal gasification (UCG) and is preparing to launch its first UCG pilot project in the Bellampalli dip-side block with technical support from CMPDI and CSIR-CIMFR. |
