Description | SK Group's AI Data Center is being constructed in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Ulsan, South Korea. The facility is currently in the excavation phase and is planned to be completed by 2027. It will be the country's largest AI-dedicated data center, covering over 66,000 square meters with a five-story building reaching 47.7 meters in height. The data center will house up to 60,000 GPUs and features a hybrid cooling system combining air and direct liquid cooling to efficiently manage the heat generated by high-performance processors. SK has also established a reliable power supply network leveraging synergies among its affiliates, with AWS heavily invested in the project. |
