Description

Description

The Skif project involves the development and deployment of nuclear-capable ballistic missiles on the seabed by Russia. These missiles are modifications of the Sineva missile and can be launched from specially designed silos or containers submerged several hundred meters underwater. The project aims to create launchers that are virtually impossible to detect and destroy, with missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads and having a range of several thousand kilometers. The installation of missile silos may be conducted using ships such as the Zvezdochka and the Sarov submarine, located in Severodvinsk on the coast of the White Sea.
