Skills for transition – increasing the impact of small social economy enterprises

The SKI.F.T. project - with its title referring to the Danish word ‘change’ - has the objective to enable small and micro community-based social economy enterprises to a) develop sustainable business models, based also on new technologies as enablers, b) rethink their role also in their relationships with other private and public actors and in the creation of local green markets and local value chains and c) communicate their efforts more effectively. Throughout project activities SKI.F.T. partner will apply a collective approach based on a) transnational exchange organised in continuous interaction/feedback with local activities and b) collective capacity-building sessions at local level (organised next to individual advice and coaching) which will bring together several small and micro social economy enterprises as well as possibly also other private and public players in order to enable beneficiary enterprises and their (potential) partners to develop their entrepreneurial project in a systemic perspective based on cooperation and partnership. This will then also facilitate the creation of local green value chains which are, in addition, increasingly based on social economy principles. Main activities will focus on: - Organisation of four transnational in-presence and three online capacity-building seminar - Organisation, at European level, of online twinning exchange between beneficiary enterprises - Development of the SKI.F.T. methodology, including repository of tools - Provision of advisory services at local level - Provision of coaching/business support at local level - Provision of direct financial support - Dissemination of project outputs Main outputs: Transnational capacity-building, Advisory Services (30 activities, min. 60 beneficiary enterprises), Coaching/Business support (min. 60 beneficiary enterprises), Direct financial support (min. 60 beneficiary enterprises), Final publication incl. methodology&tools, Interactive online repository of tools
