"Les Films du Poisson presents two feature film projects, one series, one animated series and one short film as part of the 2024 ""European Slate Development"" call for proposals. THE LAST DAY OF THE FAST, a French-Greek co-production first feature film, about a Mediterranean family and the tragic uncovering of a dark secret. OUTSIDE KABOUL, a French-Danish co-production second season of an animated series, about two Afghani women who escaped from Afghanistan when the Taliban retake power and now live in Europe. JULIUS WINSOME, a French- Luxembourgish feature film adapted from a novel, about a solitary man living alone in the woods with his dog for only companion, and who will have to face his biggest fear. AIRBAG GENERATION, a French-Belgian co-production original series, about a French reality tv show star on the verge of depression, who is one day visited by the ghost of Lolo Ferrari, a real tv icon from the early 2000s. YARA, a French production short, about a Lebanese woman who leaves her home for a chance at a better life in France. With this slate, we solidify pre-existing partnerships, we work with new collaborators, and we delve into new territories, formats, platforms, and marketing methods."
