Snowglobe is a Copenhagen-based production company founded by Katrin Pors, Eva Jakobsen, and Mikkel Jersin in 2015. International in scope, we focus on challenging and singular features and series by filmmakers with a distinctive personal voice. This development slate consists of diverse projects of both internationally renowned top-directors such as Ciro Guerra, who is developing his next big feature film TRACK OF TIME, and Hlynur Pálmason with his 4th feature TOWARDS THE END OF THE WORLD, established talent like Jeanette Nordahl, with her 2nd feature CONNECTIONS, and Omar Shargawi with his 5th feature DIVER, as well as promising talents like writer/director Sandra Yi Sencindiver, who is contributing to the slate with the young adult series QUEENS, and emerging director Hilke Rönnfeldt, who is the creator of the short film project DUTY FREE. The slate is hence a combination of new talents and accomplished directors within commercial art-house for both domestic and international target audiences. The successful development of this slate is vital in order for Snowglobe to continue to grow with our European and international partners and directors in a changing European market. Furthermore, it is a goal for the company to explore new territories, formats and engage in new partnerships through the development of these projects, so that we can all benefit, learn, and succeed across borders.
