Description | Pitkin County will begin construction on the Slaughterhouse Bridge with contractor Frontier Paving starting April 6. The project includes repairs and repaving on the county portion of Cemetery Lane, critical maintenance on the Slaughterhouse Bridge including renewing and replacing the failed bridge railing, removing asphalt from the bridge deck for patching, applying a new waterproofing membrane, and placing a new asphalt overlay. Construction will mostly occur under single-lane closures with up to 10 days of full bridge closures planned between April 10 and April 23. |
