The SME2EU Project provides value-added business and cross-bordering services helping SMEs with high potential for growth to do business and innovation within and outside the Single Market improving their competitiveness. The Consortium covers a geographical area of three Central Italy Regions: Tuscany, Marche,Umbria.The 6 partners are key players in their territories and represent Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Trade Associations, Development agencies. All partners, acting as local hubs and/or spokes,have qualified experience in developing activities putting the client at the centre of the services: assistance on internationalization, scaling and start ups issues, EU legislation and development policies and programmes, innovation,IPR,digitalization, technology, research, resource efficiency, etc. This enables them to provide EEN services with their expertise or in partnerships with qualified spokes (stakeholders, the Italian and EU EEN network or service providers) at local,regional, national, international levels to meet the assessed needs of clients. The area covered by SME2EU is characterized by a huge number of micro and small enterprises, in many cases subcontractors of larger companies with a leadership role in the international market (Made In Italy brand) and excellence in Aerospace, Automotive, Chemical, Food/beverage, ICT & robotics, Jewellery, leather/shoes/fashion, Life Sciences, Mechanical, Nautical, Textile, Tourism, Wood & furniture, Paper. These kind of small firms have two main types of needs: to grow inside and outside the Single market, invest in innovation, technology transfer, and to compete in markets through internationalization. The SME2EU Consortium will offer added-value advisory services in close synergy with the three Regional Authorities, their regional smart specialization strategies and the H2020 work programme services. The SME2EU Consortium will implement a communication strategy following the EEN’s branding rules. FPA 649295
