Small Apparatus Bay Addition at Mendon Fire Station

under construction (phased)

The project involves constructing a small apparatus bay addition on the south side of the Mendon fire station to provide apparatus storage and relieve congestion inside the station. The project experienced a significant cost increase due to regulatory compliance requirements for public works projects. The council approved proceeding with footing and foundation work as the first phase, with plans to phase the full building construction in later budgets. Interim storage using a Conex shipping container is also planned.
