Description | UPSIDA and Central Electronics Limited (CEL) have signed an MoU to jointly develop smart and sustainable industrial hubs in Uttar Pradesh. The project focuses on integrating renewable energy systems such as rooftop and ground-mounted solar plants, hybrid power systems, solar street lighting, and storage technologies. It also includes upgrading industrial zones with smart features like advanced surveillance, access control, public address systems, centralized monitoring, Wi-Fi zones, IoT-based asset tracking, and data analytics. Additionally, the project plans to install electric vehicle charging stations, modernize civil, mechanical, and electrical systems, develop green buildings, and improve water conservation measures. Capacity building through training, workshops, consultancy services, and policy recommendations is also part of the collaboration. |
