The Central Denmark European Digital Innovation Hub or CD-EDIH is designed to support regional actors utilising Data to overcome the sustainability challenges and the environmental impact of their manufacturing, production and consumption value chains. This will lead to a significant technological boost, leveraging Circular Economy approaches: use of data, data analytics, handling of big data and analysis and production of new data, to ultimately achieve economic impacts, such as more efficient processes, reduced risk, improved durability of products, new products and services, improved energy and resource efficiency, improved revenues and other. The hub is based on the strengths and focus of the Central Denmark region including, but not limited to, a focus on agriculture and the food industry, manufacturing, digital technologies etc. The Hub's aim is to promote and accelerate advanced digital capacities and technologies, ultimately contributing to the region's path to sustainability and implementing smart city and circular economy initiatives in its broadest sense. CD-EDIH will bring together facilities, expertise and experience of 10 partners and engage in collaboration agreements 9 additional clusters to raise digital maturity of a minimum of 315 organisations and contribute to increase their individual digital potential by 10%.
