Description
Description | "One of the important directions of implementation of the provisions of the Association Agreement with the European Union, as well as economic integration with the EU common market and ensuring the involvement in the global value added chains is the implementation of the idea of smart-specialization in Ukraine. The application of this new approach is defined as a key component of cooperation within the framework of the European Neighborhood Policy on the possibility of using European structural and investment funds. Proceeding from the need to join the Strategy of Smart Specializations (CPDs) of the European Union, in Ukraine since 2016, quite active work is underway to develop a position agreed upon with the EU. In order to adequately apply the principles of smart specialization and obtain positive results on this basis, it is extremely important to properly understand the essence of this innovative system of intelligent solutions developed by the European Union to intensify structural changes in the regional economy, the formation and development of regional capacity for effective functioning in the major world markets. However, smart specialization in Ukraine, as an innovative decision-making system in the field of regional and structural policies in practice, has not yet been developed and requires the training of relevant specialists and experts. To this end, we propose to introduce in the educational process the Jean Monnet Academic module ""Smart specialization: European practices of regional development strategy""." |
