"Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic is planning to take part in the grant project called “Statistics on the usage of Information and Communication Technologies 2026“, which consists of two main modules. The aim of Module 1 is to cover selected optional variables on ICT specialists and skills, data trading, ICT security and invoicing, totalling 18 variables across four topics. Sub-modules on NUTS 2 breakdown and NACE Rev. 2.1 section L are included, while Sub-module 1.4 on the impact of digitalisation on productivity is not. The activities meet grant conditions and address key aspects of enterprise digitalisation. The aim of the project activities of Module 2 is to obtain all optional variables (socio-demographic background information, technical variable ""Region of residence at NUTS 2 level"" variables, information society participation variables) as well as expand the coverage to additional age group 75-89 for the statistics on the use of ICT in households and by individuals. The survey’s results will be disseminated through the website of the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic (database, publication). Results of the project will be sent to Eurostat in the required format and transmission channels."
