The United States Agency for International Development’s mission to Sri Lanka (USAID/Sri Lanka) is in the process of designing a Social Cohesion Activity. The prime objective of Social Cohesion is to strengthen Sri Lankan-led efforts to advance social cohesion and reconciliation by achieving one or more of the following interconnected and mutually reinforcing results: ·        Strengthened structures and processes facilitating social cohesion, reconciliation, and respect for human rights. ·        Reduced socio-economic disparities and exclusion of vulnerable communities. ·        Enhanced community resilience. The purpose of this notice is to provide interested parties with a draft program description. This draft program description is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it is not a Request for Proposals (RFP), Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), or Request for Task Order Proposals (RFTOP) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government to issue any solicitation or notice of funding opportunity, or, ultimately, award a contract or assistance agreement, or to pay for any information voluntarily submitted as a result of this notice. USAID is not seeking proposals/applications at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals /applications.
