Social Impact Award envisions a world where youth drive the transformation towards an environmentally sustainable and socially just society with equal access to opportunities for all. To achieve that, we empower youth to transform society through impact-driven entrepreneurial journeysin our international community. We do so by hosting local events and workshops(online and offline) for youth to discover the field of social entrepreneurship, running incubation programs to help validate and prototype early-stage impact and business models, and granting the most promising ventures awards. In doing so, we foster one of Europe’s largest communities of young social entrepreneurs, whose stories raise awareness about the field and inspire the next local youth to take action. Our network’s objectives in 2025 are: 1) reach 3,000,000 people internationally through the promotion of social entrepreneurship; 2)reach 6,000 young people through events and workshops across the countries of the network, 3) incubate 200 most promising social enterprise ideas and thus train at least 400 young people on steps for starting social enterprise and on resilient leadership; 4) award 80 social enterprise ideas with pre-seed funding to launch their social enterprise; 5) inspire and connect 100 incubation participants and 40 youth workers through annual SIA Summits; 6) grow SIA’s network of partners by 1 new organization until the end of 2025; 7) enable more entrepreneurial journeys within SIA program though the design of online Discovery Journey.
