Social Impact Award (SIA) is the largest international community of young social entrepreneurs and changemakers, active across Europe and beyond. We believe in the transformative power of youth and are committed to helping young people realize their full potential through engaging in social impact projects. SIA develops, promotes, and supports actions to engage, connect and empower youth in the spirit of the EU Youth Strategy and legacy that the European Year of Youth brought forward. In its efforts, SIA focuses on four distinct but interlinked impact fields: - Fueling impact ventures: our early-stage entrepreneurial programs and awards give up-and-coming social innovators the tools to turn their ideas into transformational social ventures. - Building skills: our unique, hands on approach to creating social enterprises equips youth with the necessary skills to become active citizens in the 21st century. - Shifting mindsets: our stories and events about young social innovators activate young people to start their own careers with impact. - Fostering community: we build accessible and supportive spaces for our members to connect and grow authentically. Our objectives for 2026 - 2027: 1. Reach 7,000,000 people internationally through the promotion of social entrepreneurship; 2. 20 countries integrate Discovery Journey into their local learning programs by the end of 2027; 3. Train at least 1200 young people on steps for starting social enterprise and on resilient leadership; 4. Award 150 social enterprise ideas with pre-seed funding to launch their social enterprise; 5. Inspire and connect 400 incubation participants, youth workers and ecosystem stakeholders through annual SIA Summits; 6. Grow SIA’s network to 22 members by the end of 2027; 7. Strengthen the collaborative capacity of the SIA network by advancing its transformation into a multi-node structure that fosters shared co-creation and shared ownership.
