Description

Description

As a result of the Ukraine crisis, one of the biggest challenges in the east of the country is currently integrating the 1.5 million internally displaced people into the host communities. In addition to the acute economic needs, many of the displaced families suffer psychologically from the experience of displacement. However, there is hardly any support for those affected in the form of advice or contact points. The module therefore aims to support communities in creating a new integrative social service offer at the community level (module objective). The target group is internally displaced families and resident families with corresponding needs (i.e. traumatized people, families with disabled children, etc.) in 12 selected host communities in the Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts. A grant of EUR 5 million will be awarded for this purpose. UNICEF will be involved in implementing the measures.
