Description | The proposed investment is up to €5 million C loan to support the expansion of SIAGRO S.A. (the "Company" or "Kirene") a leading beverage company in Senegal. Kirene''s investment plans include i) increasing production capacity of bottled water; ii) transform production lines to accommodate the production of milk and juice ; and iii) expanding warehousing capacity in Senegal ("the Project").Kirene, founded in 2001, produces mineral water, fruit juice (from concentrate) and UHT milk (based on blend of imported powder milk 70-80% and 20-30% raw milk) under licensing from Candia of France. Kirene’s plant is located in a rural setting 45 km from Dakar. |
