The project covers 3,700 acres and is backed by SB Energy, SoftBank's renewable and energy subsidiary. It includes sourcing turbines, with the first units expected within a year and full completion of 9.2GW by the end of the decade. Additionally, SB Energy plans 800 MW for the campus and is collaborating with American Electric Power Co. to invest $4.2 billion in local transmission upgrades to support the facility's power needs. |
