Description | O-Green, a clean energy company set up by the state of Oman, has achieved financial close of a 93-MW solar project expected to supply energy to more than 200 industrial facilities. The project is developed in partnership with MadaynOman and in collaboration with Ahli Islamic, the Islamic Banking window of Ahlibank. It is the largest captive solar project across Oman’s industrial zones and the first in the Sultanate to power industrial zones through a direct solar energy model. Financial close was reached during Oman Sustainability Week 2026, and the project is expected to start commercial operation in September 2026. |
