Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway Project

under construction

The Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway is a 1,000-kilometre strategic national asset designed to enhance connectivity across geopolitical zones in Nigeria, reduce transportation costs, and improve the movement of agricultural produce and industrial goods. The highway stretches from Illela in Sokoto State to Badagry in Lagos State, passing through Kebbi, Niger, Kwara, Oyo, and Ogun states. The project aims to strengthen food security, boost trade, and promote national integration by linking production centers to major markets and export routes.
