Description
Description | The Maryland Stadium Authority approved an agreement allowing the Baltimore Ravens to install solar panels on new North Plaza buildings and on the entry canopy outside M&T Bank Stadium. The solar panels will connect to the stadium's existing electrical grid, with all power generated used internally by the stadium. Luminous Solar Inc. was selected to design, engineer, procure, construct, and install the system. The Ravens will assume full financial responsibility for the project, including construction, operations, and maintenance, which will be handled by Fusion Solar Services, a subsidiary of Luminous Solar. The system is expected to have a useful life of 20-25 years, after which the Ravens will be responsible for repair, replacement, or removal costs. Ownership and management of the system will be by the Ravens. |
