Description | The project entails the construction of a 250 MW in Ninh Thuan province, Vietnam. The facility is being jointly developed by BIM Group and AC Energy, the energy arm of Philippine group Ayala Corp. Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) is the sole lender for an undisclosed loan. AC Energy will take part with a 30% voting stake and a roughly 50% economic share. The plant is expected to to enter into service in time for the June 2019 solar feed-in tariff (FiT) deadline. Previously the two company decided to jointly develop a 30 MW solar plant. Financial close took place on August 13, 2018.
