Solar-Powered Dynamic Lighting for Howrah Bridge

Coal India Limited has signed an MoU with Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Kolkata to support the installation of dynamic solar-powered illumination on the historic Howrah Bridge. The project involves upgrading the lighting system using advanced LED and projection technology with volumetric and skeleton lighting techniques synchronized with musical shows to enhance the bridge's architectural beauty and cultural heritage. The lighting installation is expected to be completed within a year from contract award, with execution taking around six to eight months.
