Description | Polish renewables contractor Onde SA and Neo Energy Group have sold a 112 MW solar PV project to Energa Green Development (EGD), part of the Orlen group. The project is located in Serby, southwestern Lower Silesian province, and is at a ready-to-build stage on an area of 124 hectares. The owners sold 100% of the project, 50% each, for a total of PLN 48 million (USD 12.7 million / EUR 11.2 million). Onde has also concluded a general contractor deal for about PLN 240 million. NEG will be involved as a contract engineer, supervising the progress and quality of the works. The project faces challenges due to its size and the need to adapt to cables crossing the river Odra, four railway lines, a bypass under construction, and maintaining environmental compliance. |
