Description
Description | SolarDuck has developed a triangular floating photovoltaic (PV) platform that generates 65 kW of clean power over water. The system consists of triangular solar panel islands designed with offshore-grade aluminum, elevated above the water surface to prevent damage from waves and currents. The pilot project is located on the Waal River near Ijzendoorn in Gelderland, Europe, and includes four triangular floats constructed at Damen Shipyards. The project also integrates a 10 kW electrolyzer for green hydrogen production, demonstrating combined solar and renewable energy storage capabilities. |
