The LIFE SOURCES project aims to adapt the Gardons watershed to increase its resilience to water-related risks in climate change context. The specific objectives are: share and develop sober uses, preserve and restore soil functions to increase infiltration, train and raise awareness among local stakeholders and, lastly, guarantee sustainability and massification of the project’s results. In order to limit conflicts and in a general context of tension over water resources, the program aims to enable stakeholders to take advantage of exiting resources and tools to limits their consumption and contribute to slowing down, distributing, infiltrating and storing water in the ground. Several sectors and levels of action (agricultural and urban areas, tourism, local authorities, domestic environment, etc.) are involved, to open up and involve local stakeholders.
