Description	Soma Energy (Cambodia) was planning the devleopment of the 1.5MW biomass plant at the Hak Se mill, in the Kamphong Cham region. The equipment supply contract was awarded to General Electric (USA), which expected to supply its VHP5904 Waukesha engines, fueled by rice husk. The gasification facility was to be developed by Ankur Scientific Energy Technologies PVt. The project holds a PPA, the first biomass-based power sales tariff.
