Description

The proposed IFC financing consists of: (i) A senior, unsecured loan comprising an A Loan in the amount of up to €37 million equivalent in local currency to the Company, for IFC’s own account, and B1 Loan under IFC’s standard B Loan program and/or Parallel loans to the Company mobilized or Parallel loans, for the account of participants or Parallel lenders, in the amount of up to €50 million equivalent in local currency to be structured as Sustainability-Linked Financing (SLF); and (ii) an up to XOF25 billion (approximately €38 million equivalent) investment in an up to XOF75 billion (approximately €114 million equivalent) of tranche C1 and tranche C2 XOF-denominated asset-backed securities (ABS or Securitization), issued by a Fonds Commun de Titrisation de Créances (FCTC). IFC will act as an anchor investor and subscribe to up to 33.3 percent of the total issuance across the two tranches. The project is expected to be supported by the IDA20 Private Sector Window Local Currency Facility (IDA20 PSW LCF) as described in the Blended Finance Section.
