Description | Clean Energy has completed a renewable natural gas (RNG) facility at South Fork Dairy in Dimmitt, Texas. The facility processes 300,000 gallons of dairy manure daily using four anaerobic digesters to produce approximately 2.6 million gallons of low-carbon RNG per year. The RNG is injected into an interstate natural gas pipeline. The project is financed entirely by Clean Energy and represents an $85 million investment. The facility has received EPA approval to generate Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs) under the Renewable Fuel Standard, with California Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) credits expected in 2026. |
