Description | South Texas Electric Cooperative Inc. (STEC) issued a request for proposals (RFP) to obtain up to 500 megawatts (MW) of firm, dispatchable generating capacity and associated energy. The RFP considers proposals for dispatchable generation facilities in development, construction, or operation within the ERCOT region, preferably near STEC's member service territories. STEC is open to various transaction structures including purchase and sale agreements and power purchase agreements (PPAs) with terms of 20 to 30 years, with commercial operation dates no later than December 1, 2028. |
