The upgrades include enhancing the Dinawan substation from 330kV to 500kV, constructing a new switchyard, improving 11 kilometers of 330kV transmission line between Gugaa and Wagga Wagga substations, and converting the Dinawan-Wagga Wagga power lines from 330kV to 500kV. These improvements will enable 3.56GW of renewable energy projects to connect to the grid, supporting wind, solar, and battery storage initiatives. |
